Cody Launder was born in Toledo, Ohio and attended St. Francis de Sales High School, where he was awarded All-American honors and graduated summa cum laude. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Law & Society from Kenyon College before completing his Juris Doctorate at Case Western Reserve University School of Law with a concentration in health law.
While in law school, Cody worked for a non-profit law clinic as a certified legal intern and was the first law student from CWRU to argue before the Eight Appellate District Court of Ohio. His concentration in health law also resulted in the unique opportunity to represent clients at Social Security disability hearings for SSI and SSDI benefits, an area of focus he has continued since completing his law degree. In addition, Cody has several years of professional experience working for a large healthcare organization and regularly calls upon his knowledge of the inner workings of healthcare systems to advise and assist his clients in navigating the often difficult and complicated process of obtaining medical treatment.
Cody and his wife, Brady, moved from Ohio to California in 2011 and currently reside in Santa Monica. They enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors, whether it be hiking, biking, swimming or just taking their dog for walks, and try to take advantage of every opportunity to visit and spend time with friends and family.
